Nairn's Oatcake Crackers Rough Oatmeal 300g

An interesting cracker alternative, these have a coarse crunch that is a great backdrop for any cheese, sweet, or savory. They have a subtle, nutty flavor that many might find bland but that we love. They come from the UK, so it takes a bit for them to arrive.

These oatcakes taste OK, but do have a slight oily after-taste and are a bit more bland than some others I have tried. The price is fairly good though. I ordered on Sept 29 and they arrived on October 15.

If they were any thinner they would have one side. Hard to spread anything on them without breaking them. Doubtful I'd ever order them again.

these are wonderful, very hearty and so good with almond butter and mascarpone cheese. They are truly rough oats with a coarse grind; if you are accustomed to the Walkers fine oatcakes or Nairns fine ground (both very tasty!) these take a bit of getting used to.

Wonderful with thick cut marmalade! These rough cut oat cakes are firm enough for spreads, 4-packs to the box, great for those on GF diets. I enjoy eating them plain as well.

I first had oat crackers in Ireland, with sliced cheese, as a picnic with friends. Delicious. healthful. No pesticides used in growing the oats.

Good quality Nairns Rough Oatcakes it is hard to find a quality rough oatcake in the market place today.Please let me know if there is a better one out there.
