Chakir Turkish Linens 100% Turkish Cotton 6 Pack Hand Towel Set, White

I have not purchased a towel in about 7 years. Looking in the linen closet all I can see are old mismatched towels, many of them puckering (that is when the embroidery at the ends shrinks and ruins the towels) and fraying at the sides. All of them now good for car washing and company.I picked these towels out to start with to see how good of a towel you can get for such a low price. These towels looked pretty good to me. They didn’t have any apparent defects and look to be true to size.The towels are not as thick and luxurious as I would like. I would call these everyday towels. Not super thick but not thin either. There is a good amount of fiber (700 GSM) and they have a decent substantial feel.Following the instructions, I washed them with Tide detergent on the regular cycle. Sorry, but that is how towels get washed at my house so no exceptions for these. I used cold water per instructions but typically like to wash clothes in a warm/cold cycle.During the rinse cycle, I added some Downey fabric softener (liquid mixed with some warm water) as I always do with my laundry.I dried them on the low-cycle for about 35 minutes until they were completely dry.The results were fine. The towels came out fluffier than when I first started. They feel soft and did not drop off a huge amount of lint. See the photos of the lint collected when drying 4 of these towels (they were the only thing in the load).You can see from the measurements that the towels ended up about 20% thicker after laundering. Several reviewers mentioned that after the second or third wash they really fluff up best.Overall, these are a good towel and appear to be well-made. I have concerns about puckering because after pulled from the dryer I could see some shrinkage around the embroidering area of the towels. I was able to pull them flat but only time and many washing will tell.I will follow-up in a few months after several washings with an update.

I travel often for work and have stayed in many five star hotels. These towels have the same feel as the hotel towels that I just love! I took one of these towels to a luxurious hotel purposely to guage similarities or differences between them (did the same for Amazon Basics face rags, but that's another review 😃) and couldn't tell the difference. In fact, I had to check the tag to tell which was mine! YOU WON'T REGRET THIS PURCHASE!!! I can't believe how SOFT & drying these towels are. It soaks up water and so dries you quickly and thoroughly. Love these!!! Buy them!!!

These towels are too thick for my likings. It feels as though after a shower I am toweling off with a terrycloth bathrobe. . I am someone who likes to be able to get the water out of my ears using the bath towel and I can't with these towels. They are much to thick to do that. I suppose if you are someone who prefers a thick bath towel, than these towels would be for you. I would much rather have a thinner rougher bath towel. It comes down to a personal choice. I give it two stars cause my husband likes them.

IChakir Turkish Linens Luxury Hotel & Spa Bath Towels 100% Cotton Dobby Border (White, Set of 4)have had these towels for almost three months now. Since they first arrived and following several washings now, I am still disappointed on a daily basis. These towels do not absorb water. I thought at first it was because they were new and even though my kids complained they hated them I kept saying give it time... well, time is not helping. Nothing luxury about a towel that doesn't do what its intended to do

Less than 8 weeks later two of the four towels came out of a high end LG washer with shredded holes. I have never seen anything like it. Terrible quality! worse purchase I have made on Amazon.

These are very soft and nice towels after first wash but....after I washed and dried them my dryer stopped working due to the incredible amount of lint that came off of these. Caused by dryer to over heat and shut off. happened again afteer the next washing. Nothing should release lint like these do, wonder how long towels will last.

Gets a little rough after a few washes. I was trying to figure out whether to go with Indian or Turkish cotton. After purchasing some face towels made of Indian Cotton, I much prefer the indian cotton. It is much softer and absorbent than the turkish after several washes.

They are OK for the money. Got these as a test order before I bought more. They are what I would consider average thickness and quaility. Just your standard ordinary cotton towels, which is OK. I was going to buy more, but they went up in price almost 50% so went elsewhere for second order.

Las toallas son de medio baño, lo cual eché en falta que se especificara en la descripción del producto. Son de algodón, de buena calidad aunque no de la mejor. Son una buena opción por el precio. Ojalá tuvieran las tuvieran en un tamaño más grande.

Este es el modelo que quiero y me mandaron otro de menor calidad. Los dos traían el mismo empaque , pero no son las mismas ni la calidad.No están muy bien terminadas , temo que se vayan a descoser algunas rápidamente

Great towels. They take some time to dry after having a shower and using them but so far they are great!

En cuanto las lavas se hacen mas gruesas y pachoncitas, muy buen producto.
