Q: What is the Sustained Writing Speed of this item?

This product does not work properly so I have no idea of the sustained writing speed. Very unhappy with the product and the company does not respond to issues.

Q: One of the drives currently as ms-dos (fat) is not "writable", and i have not been able to mount, or erase or restore the disk. how can i fix this?

This product is defective. I already reported that to Amazon and they chose to ignore it.

Q: Does it work on a commodore64 mini retro system

The two I received didn't work with anything really. After trying to use them several times each, I threw them in the trash.

Nice and compact.

Time will tell how I actually feel about these. The very first one I pulled out of the package failed. The next 3 worked perfectly. I record HS band performance and it is easier to pass them on to players than using CDs since most people don’t have players any more.
