Brilliant NCs at a very fair price
I have had the stupidly expensive Bose (broke, Bose wanted a minimum of $100 to even look at them, not guarantee to fix) and these are as good in NC, better in sound and VERY decently priced. I have the wired Solutides as well and love them. Also had the original Plane Quiets until someone stole them from a plane seat. Would still be using them otherwise. Newest ones are terrific, used NRT-SGN and back the entire trips and no worries at at all. Comfortable, easy to connect, work great with Skype - my mum said best Skype call to her ever - wish the volume control was a little less fiddly. Like the thumbwheel and on wired model better, but no worries. These are great!Edited to remove two stars, not because they are anything less than great at NC and produce terrific sound, but because the swivel broke, rendering them useless, and apparently unfixable because the plastic rejects every sort of glue I have tried. The break happened during a winter walk and the plastic seemed to not like the cold. The bluetooth was/is fine, but can use the phones when holding the earcup to my ear. Only upside is the earcup covers come off easily and fit easily on my XCS2s, making them like new again.

Good sound
I just received these this week so I am writing a review based on a limited experience. Sound quality is very good I listen to a lot of Joe Bonamassa Blues/Rock and they do a great job. Still on a learning curve with some of the features because I only really needed them for music will be interesting when paired to my iPhone when it comes to calls. I had trouble in the beginning pairing it because I didn't realize that you can only pair one device at a time. I contacted the seller and they responded via email immediately so I have to say customer service is excellent. My only issue so far is not the manufactures fault but the fact that I have a small head so they are almost big on me. So far I am very pleased with these and hope they last a while. If there are any changes in my review I will edit later.

Almost as Good as Bose...But at a Fraction of the Cost
I have enjoyed Solitude brand noise-canceling since the early days when they were sold under the "Plane Quiet" brand. The only times I have had to replace them was when I broke them because of some carelessness on my part. Each time, though, I was able to upgrade to a newer and better model, and these are by far the best and most versatile set I've had so far.I travel frequently, and these take the edge off of the constant in-flight noise, to the point that when I remove them to get up out of my seat, I'm overwhelmed by the noise I've been missing.I have tested these side-by-side with comparable Bose models, and I would say it's about 95% as good, but at a fraction of the cost. The sound quality is top-notch, and the addition of Bluetooth connectivity makes these the perfect travel companion.

Good sound quality with fair noise-cancellation. Comfortable to wear. Won't work with Kindle Fire
Rewritten January 20.I ordered these headphones twice. The first pair produced insufficient volume and the volume control buttons did not work. I am returning them The second pair produced sufficient volume, but perhaps a bit weak in the bass response. Both headphones paired easily with my smartphone, an LG V35Q Thin. However the second pair (I never tried the first) would not pair with either of my Kindle Fire tablets. Apparently the Fire tables require something called A2DP, which these headphones do not support. So I am returning the second pair as well, in favor of the Cowin E7 Pro, which does support A2DP.If you don't need A2DP, I would give them 3.5 stars. If you do need A2DP, as for Kindle Fire, the phones get only one star. I am splitting the difference and giving them two stars.

Great sound quality
I've wanted a Bluetooth noise cancelling set of headphones for a while now, but considering how much they cost, I was worried about getting stuck with a piece of junk. These were well worth the risk. The noise cancelling doesn't knock out 100% of background noise, so don't expect that. Do expect great sound quality. These are also lightweight, much lighter than I expected, and the range is great - I can walk in the next room and not notice any difference in sound quality. I'd buy these again - my son may want some for Christmas.

[Updated] Lasted 6 months - good while it lasted
My original review would have said that for the price, it's a great budget noise cancelling headphone. I didn't like the fact that I had to use noise cancelling with the bluetooth, but it didn't seem to affect battery life too much, so it wasn't a huge deal. It is a significant savings from the next tier up for ANC. For a someone who travels 4-5x/yr, it's perfect. I don't wear these headphones daily.Fast forward - 6 months exactly from the date of purchase, the swivel cracks. I go to the warranty page and it says, "We DO NOT cover obvious damaged headphones due to dropping or forced folding of headphones or force turn at pivot." Well, I did not drop these or force fold the headphones, but here we are where it cracked at the pivot. I guess they are very aware that this is a weak point in their design. If I could do it again, I'd pay double the price and get something more durable.4/28/20 - I reached out to their customer support who promptly replied. I will be shipping the headphones for repair to them this week. 5 stars for excellent customer support.

Surprisingly good music separation and good articulation through mids. NC lacks robustness tho.
I like the vocal articulation and spatial separation of the soundstage there is a good amount of bass without additional artifacts I give it 4 out of 5. I found that the headphones pinched my ears causing me to remove them now and then therefore I give them 3 for long time use because they pressed into my ear. Overall I think that these are quality headphones that sound surprisingly good for the price. I decided to go all in with the Sony WH-1000XM2. Hopefully, my ambient noise killing ninja.
