It's Not Really Compatible With The Lenovo 300e
Product arrived after long delay. Apparently, it was back-ordered when I placed the order, but showed in stock on the product page. It's billed as "Lenovo 300e Stylus Pen, BoxWave [AccuPoint Active Stylus] Electronic Stylus with Ultra Fine Tip for Lenovo 300e [model bw-1434-15884-10305]. The actual item, however, is "AccuPoint Active Stylus" as shown in the product description narrative. It is NOT a Lenovo stylus, but a Boxwave stylus, and says so on the side of the pen. Presumably, it's supposed to be plug-and-play. NOT. No instructions in the box. No discernible drivers on line. No links to instruction manual on Boxwave website. It's pretty, has a nice blue LED indicating power and also charging status, when plugged in to the very stiff micro USB port under the end cap. But beyond that. Don't expect it to respond to calibration using Microsoft or Wacom utility. Clearly, with the Lenovo 300e it doesn't establish a connection with the touch screen. If it were heavier, I'd use it as a PAPER WEIGHT. Now, since one may ask, is it my laptop. No. Case in point. While waiting for this to arrive, I ordered and received a true Lenovo Active Pen Model GX80K32882. Plug and play? Yep. Better tip? Yes, and has additional ones supplied. It uses a AAAA battery, which Amazon sells in a 4-pack. It works like a charm, and handles both 3D and detailed coloring splendidly. So when I got this one from Boxwave, I was seriously disappointed. I kept looking for a vacuum attachment, because clearly it sucks.

works nicely
the product works nicely and is really good quality. the product was almost a month late though. after reading other reviews it seems this product is commonly out of stock temporarily. they are still very good at communicating though about what's up so I would recommend this pen
