Small Camera with Large Features
I'm a 65 year old Michigan hunter and have been using trail cameras (Bushnell and Moultrie) for many years. I was pleasantly surprised at the compact size of the Wansview T01 Trail Camera as I use it on Public Land in Michigan where it needs to remain hidden. This camera attaches firmly to the tree with the included strap, but there is no integrated place to lock it to the tree with a cable lock. I did padlock the the door closed to prevent others from gaining access to the interior parts of the camera. All 5 exterior lenses come covered with a clear plastic lens protector. The interior menu lens is also covered. These plastic covers were removed prior to use to increase clarity and sensitivity. The camera face is camo and blends in well with the woods. I faced the camera North to keep the bright sun from interfering with picture clarity. A full-sized rubber gasket provides good water seal against rain and snow. I found battery installation to be simple requiring 8 AA batteries. Programing the camera features is simple, especially if you've owned other trail cameras. The camera seems very sensitive as I received several photos of squirrels, birds, coyotes, raccoons and deer in a short period of time. Daytime photos are very clear, nighttime photos just a little grainy, but critters are clearly recognizable. Animals did not appear to notice the camera, even at night with the 46 IR LED bulb flash. I really like the wide angle of the lens which allows the fast trigger speed to get multiple photos of animals passing through even while running. The Wansview T01 Trail Camera is a great camera with a great price. If it proves durable over the years, as my other trail cameras wear out I will replace them with more of these fine Wansview cameras. It does exactly what I need a trail camera to do in my preseason scouting and hunting application. The large number of features and the small price make this a perfect choice for me. Try one, you won't be disappointed.

Absolute Junk!
I have had issues with this trail cam almost immediately after receiving it.Issue #1: My camera will not detect motion reliably. I can walk 15 feet in front of the camera, clearly be in view for 10 seconds or more while flailing my arms like an idiot, and still not trip the camera 30% of the time.Issue #2: After several failed attempts to get the camera to record video properly, I gave up and set it to record a picture every 90 seconds. This worked for an hour or 2 then it just stopped taking pictures and corrupted the last few. This issue has also occurred during video. The micro sd card will be no where near full and the camera stops recording and just sits there. I have tried multiple micro sd cards with the same resultsIssue #3: Video playback speed on the viewer is 2x video speed but the time counter is at 1x. Videos are also routinely corrupted / unplayable.Issue #4: On the rare occasion that the camera functions correctly in motion detecting video mode, I leave it to run for a few days in the woods. When I visit the camera and review the videos, I then leave any files on the card, and return the camera to the ON mode and close it back up. The camera has NEVER recorded a video or picture after being put back in ON mode. The only method I have found to get it to work somewhat is to delete all videos/pictures, reset all settings to default, and format the micro SD card. This method still only works 40-50% of the timeAfter dealing with a useless camera for a month or so, I contacted tech support and was given a new firmware file to try. I tried it out a few times and it appeared to fix most of the issues. I put some fresh batteries in it and set it out in the woods to start scouting for deer season. I went out and checked the camera last weekend and not only did the firmware update not fix any of the issues, playback on the camera screen is completely corrupted and will no longer play videos or view pictures. I walk the path the camera was situated on a couple times a week and not once was the camera triggered. I have driven my 4 wheeler past the camera dozens of times and only once was the camera tripped. There are fresh deer tracks everywhere in front of the camera (all within 15'-45') and the only motion the camera tripped on was a doe literally licking the camera. This is with the sensitivity turned all the way up with side motion sensors on.Archery season starts in 11 days and after setting up a camera on a heavily trafficked path for more than a month, I have a video of me on a 4 wheeler and a doe licking the camera. Thanks Wansview! Should have spent a few more dollars and bought American.
