Rock-Solid Stability
I installed a pair of these last September at my rural home because I had to backhaul my Starlink connection from my pole barn (where I had clear line-of-sight) to the house (which has no view of the sky due to all the trees). One CPE710 is hanging off the side of my barn connected to the Starlink router, and the other is pole-mounted behind the house with some Cat6 running through a conduit to my house router/AP. They've been through snow, rain, and ice storms. Temps have ranged from the low 90's down into sub-zero territory, and reliability has been 100%.If you have zero networking experience then you might struggle a bit as setup is more complex than a wifi router with a phone app. Since I already had access points on both ends of the p2p connection, I used a separate SSID and wifi channel specifically for the pair of CPE710s, and I set the SSID to hidden. Otherwise you can get clients trying to connect to the CPE710 instead of your preferred access point, and the result will be some stability issues. For my use case I connected via ethernet, assigned static IPs, set one to AP mode, one to client mode, punched in the SSIDs/keys, tweaked some settings a little bit, and I was off and running at full-speed.As I type this, they have been up for almost 3 months without a reboot and transferred untold terabytes of data, so I have zero complaints. I do have them both running through a small UPS which is plenty to let them keep going through a moderate power outage.

Get better brackets then I did mine are garbage
Incredible very easy to set up and once I was using a windows 10 PC and not a windows 11 it only took about half an hour, plus the two are barley aligned and I'm getting this signal

The best option for long range internet transfer
I purchased this to provide internet to our new Airbnb that is about 1/2 mile away from our home with a clear line of sight. I was hopeful this would save the extra expense of a second ISP and I was shocked at how well it worked. I set up one unit as the AP and the second as a Client. That process took less than 15 minutes. I mounted the AP unit on our home and took the second unit down the street. To my amazement and delight I began receiving an adequate signal inside the house! Once mounted outside I was able to stream video on three TVs perfectly. There was no drop off in speed from our home. I believe there may be some confusion in the negative reviews. You must purchase two units to send and receive.

Funciona bien
Se hicieron pruebas basicas de conectividad y funciona bien. Falta ponerlo en producción, con tráfico real y con los 20 usuarios que necesito conectar, para poder evaluar la velocidad de transmisión.

One superstar, Two duds
I have purchased three of these antennas with very mixed results. The first purchase was in April 2022. If I could give six stars to this purchase, I would. Installation was straight forward. It is linked to a multidirectional WAV AC1200 access point on the side of the house. LOS is OK, but it is 150 yards and there is a tree between the antennas. No problem…I have still seen speeds over 215 Mbps on a Starlink connection. It only goes down when the power goes out…it is rock steady. I was so please with it, that when I needed to connect another building, I ordered two more. I did not want to move my AC1200 and there is a tree and LOS is not there. This is were the problems began. The second purchase was in December 2022. The first antenna went up, and the LOS problems was not as bad as anticipated. It connected to the AC1200 at an acceptable speed. While disconnecting it to mount it permanently, the plastic tab on the antenna that holds the Ethernet connection in place broke. So you can not plug the ethernet cable into the antenna. I should mention here that in the 1000+ Ethernet connections I have made in my lifetime, this is the first time the tab inside the Ethernet port (port, not cable) has ever broken on me. I was not happy, but I had another antenna so I swapped it out. The second antenna went up as easy as the antenna I purchased in April. Setup up was the same. The connect speeds never topped 45 Mbps, which I attribute to the fact that the corner of the house blocks LOS to the AC1200. Then it rained…and the connection was down for a couple of days. Before I could get to it, the connection started working again. It worked fine for weeks…until it rained again. Went up on a ladder to look at the antenna and water poured out of the housing when I took it off. I noted it was properly secured prior to removing it. It dried out and after a couple of days it started working again. I looked at the design of the antenna, looked at my fully working antenna, and applied a few strategic drops of silicone caulking. It worked fine…until it rained again. Again water poured out of the housing…but this time it did not start working again. So I have two useless antennas…but I also have one that works like a superstar. I would give the two that don’t work zeros if I could. Adding up the stars I would give to each antenna, 6+0+0=6. 6 is 40% of 15. 5X40% is 2. I rate the antenna overall at 2. If you get one that does not leak…be VERY careful with the Ethernet connection…and you will have a solid antenna.
