This cat post is perfect. It's very sturdy and surprisingly very stable. My cat is quite big and he loves to stretch on this every time he wakes up from a deep nap. The size of the post is also a good fit for his size. First he runs to greet me and then runs to the post to stretch. Every time. And the post holds his weight and keeps steady. In addition, I'm sure my furniture is grateful, as am I, because this post gets all the scratching.As for packaging, when I saw the size of the carton box I was very skeptical regarding final size and durability but I was proven wrong, and assembling was easy.

This is my second one, my cat loves it, he doesn't really play with the balls but he scratches it like crazy. My cat is big and it is tall enough for him, had a shorter one once, it was ok, but this is better for him he gets the stretch too. Sturdy.

Our two Siamese love this scratcher. The first two lasted us about 1 year and 3 months each. It's the only vertical scratcher we have in our apartment. They also still find the hanging and spring balls amusing as well :-) Our cats are smaller so the 22 inch option works well for us.We are grateful we have a vertical scratcher we can count on for fitting our budget and scratching needs !!!

Great scratch post! Is tall and sturdy and my little one loves climbing it when he gets the zoomies! Wish the base was a bit heavier, but if used as "just a scratch post" it works fine. It's almost tipped a few times, but like I mentioned my crazy guy climbs and leaps on it! Would recommend..

Works great, bought it to fit into a playpen it's just tall enough to reach the top/roof of the enclosure but not too big where it doesn't fit. they love it!

My cats mostly ignore this. Despite putting it exactly where the old (completely shredded) tree was, and trying to lure them with catnip. A couple of sniffs and one of them sat on the base for a few minutes. I’m hoping they start using it soon.
